Abstract:

This study aims to (1) identify and determine the areas prone to traffic
accidents (Black sites) and (Black spots) on the Pemalang-Randudongkal road
section. (2) Knowing the location of accident-prone roads, and road facilities in
accident-prone areas (DRK) on the Pemalang-Randudongkal road section. (3)
Providing handling or solutions to accident-prone areas on the PemalangRandudongkal road section. The method used is by using zscore analysis and
cusum analysis. The results of this study (1). Factors that influence the cause of
the accident consist of the density of vehicles or road users and inadequate
traffic signs and uneven road conditions (2) at the accident-prone point (black
spot) located on Jalan Letjen Panjahitan with an accident rate of 680 incidents
and prone areas accident (black site) namely on Jalan Gatot Subroto with an
accident rate of 664. (3) Handling in reducing the number of accidents by
improving road conditions and traffic signs so that drivers are more orderly in
