Body scrub is a cosmetic preparation used for skin care. Soy milk dregs are waste from processing soybean seeds which can be used for body scrubs, face masks and others. Soybean waste contains a lot of carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin B complex, water and isoflavones which have been proven to have a number of benefits for the skin and body. This study uses descriptive analysis by taking direct data in the study. The body scrub formulation was made using variations of 3 grams, 5 grams and 7 grams of soy milk dregs powder. This research includes several tests such as water content test, formulation test, organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, and dispersion test. The results of the body scrub test for formulas 1, 2 and 3 are homogeneous, brownish white in formula 1, light brown in formula 2 and dark brown in formula 3, distinctive smell of soy milk dregs. The pH test of the body scrub has a pH of 6.3 in formulas 1 and 2, pH 6.4 in formula 3. Formula 1 has greater dispersion than formula 2 and formula 3. From all tests, the body scrub formula 1 has the best characteristics. |
