Abstract:

This study discusses the influence of Korean drama films on the use of language of
Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes University students (sociolinguistic studies). The purpose of
this study is to find out whether Korean drama films affect the language use of FKIP
students of Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes University who become bilingulism. This type of
research is a mix method, which combines two methods, qualitative methods and
quantitative methods. The data sources used in this study are: 1) primary data and 2)
secondary data. The data collection methods used in this study are: 1) literature
research 2) field research. The results showed that there was an influence of Korean
drama films on the language use of FKIP students of Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes
University with an influence of 67.6%, which means that variable X significantly
affects variable Y. The results of this study show that the Null Hypothesis (Ho) was
rejected and the Working Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, namely the influence of
Korean drama films on the use of language of Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes University
students. The form of use of FKIP students who watch Korean drama films is to
become bilingualism. In this study, there were 3 levels of student bilingualism, namely
coordinate, subordinate, and compound. |
