The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the dominant figure of speech in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany. (2) Describe the dominant image in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany. (3) Describe the implication of the dominant figure of speech and imagery in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany on literary learning in high school. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research. The approach used is a stylistic approach. Data collection techniques are carried out using library techniques and heuristic reading techniques. The validity of the data used in this study is investigator triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the informal presentation data analysis technique. The results of the research are: (1) the dominant figure of speech in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany, including simile, personification, metaphor, hyperbole, and litotes. (2) the dominant imagery in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany includes images of sight, motion, and hearing. (3) The implication of figure of speech and imagery in the novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany for literary learning in high school can be used as an additional reference for literature learning material and is listed in the lesson plans. |
