dc.description.abstract Islamic boarding school have an important role in the history of education development in Indonesia. Among the educational institutions that have appeared in Indonesia. Religious education in the form of Islamic Boarding School is the oldest education system today. Currently, the teaching and learning process at Assalafiyah II Saditan Islamic Boarding School is still using conventional method which is quite outdated. The conventional learning process is felt to be less fun and somewhat monotonous. Other than that learning that is only based on books and ustadz make students bored with learning process in class. Therefore, we need a learning method, one of which is technology-based learning so that the appearance and learning style are more attractive and make students avoid feeling bored and bored when participating in learning. Currently, students are less enthusiastic in reading books about the science of shorof because it is confusing. The students are more enthusiastic about reading something through smartphone media that can be read anytime and anywhere than books. Knowledge of Islam for a person in the community is measured by a simple measure, namely the extent to which they master the Arabic language. If someone is known to be able to speak Arabic, let alone can read the yellow book. Therefore, we need a game that can increase students' interest in learning, namely in the form of an Android-based quiz game using Android Studio. en_US
