Title: PENGARUH GENANGAN AIR TERHADAP KINERJA CAMPURAN PERKERASAN ASPAL DI KOTA TEGAL (Studi Kasus Ruas Jalan Kelurahan Kaligangsa)
Author: FAUZI, AHMAD
Abstract: In Indonesia, there are many roads where there are frequent puddles of water caused by being submerged in rainwater, as is the case with many around us, puddles often cause demage to road pavements, especially the worn layer on the pavement (AC-WC). With this problem, it is necessary to conduct research related to the level of strength of the asphalt layer and the level of durability of the laston mixture (AC-WC) if it is submerged by rainwater. If the preparation and testing get result that are in with the requirement in terms of materials, aggregates and asphalt to determine the gradation of the AC-WC mixture. Then testing with the Marshall method which aims to determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO). After that, the rainwater was soaked by varying the immersion time in order to obtain a comparison of the stability value. In the first stage of the test, the optimum asphalt content was 7.73 %. In the test results, the stability value increased from 4.0% to 5.0% asphalt content was added to 6.0%, the value of flow, VMA, VFB, MQ also increased along with the increase in asphalt content, meanwhile the VIM value was increasing. Decreased with the addition of asphalt content. In the second stage of testing regarding the modified immersion time, the stability value of the strength and durability of the laston mixture decreased along with the addition of variations in the length of immersion time in the research sample.
