As the population increases every year, the need for transportation will also increase, indirectly it will increase the risk of growing transportation problems. One of the highlighted issues is the problem of traffic accidents. Traffic accidents generally occur due to various causal factors such as violations or the careless actions of road users.
The purpose of this study is to find out the accident points (black spots) and accident-prone areas (black sites) on the Pantura Road section, Wanasari District, Brebes Regency, and formulate solutions or solve problems at accident-prone points and areas on the pantura road, Wanasari District, Brebes Regency.
The research method used as the limit value for determining black spot is the upper control limit method (BKA), while to determine the black site, it uses the Z-score method.
From the results of the analysis and discussion results, the accident prone point (Black Spot) using the EAN (Equivalent Accident Number) and BKA (Upper Control Limit) methods and the analysis of accident-prone areas (Black Site) using the Z-score method, it was concluded that on Jalan Pantura, Wanasari District, Brebes Regency, there were 2 road sections identified as Black Spot and Black Site, namely on the STA section 0 + 000 - 1 + 000 with an EAN value of 240 and had a Z-score of 0.94 and on the STA 5 + 000 – 6 + 000 road section with an EAN value of 210 and has a Z-score of 0.56 |
