With the increase in activities that occur at the Yogya Department Store, it must be balanced with improved services, as well as optimal management of facilities and infrastructure. Among them is parking management, because the capacity of parking spaces available today is very limited, so that during peak hours there are still many vehicles parked outside the Yogya Mall Brebes area. The purpose of this final project study is to determine vehicle characteristics which include static capacity, parking accumulation, distribution of the number of vehicles leaving and entering, parking volume, parking index, parking changes, and parking space needs in the off street parking area of Yogya Mall Brebes. The research method used is a survey of parking duration, namely by recording the number and time of vehicles entering and leaving the parking area of Yogya Mall Brebes. The study was conducted for two days, namely: Saturday 4 June 2022 from 08.00-20.00 WIB and Sunday 5 June 2022 from 09.00-21.30 WIB.From the results of data analysis and discussion, the parking capacity in the Parking area of Yogya Mall Brebes is generally insufficient, this can be seen in the maximum parking accumulation that occurred on Sunday, June 5, 2022 for motorcycles, namely 402 vehicles and for cars, namely 22 vehicles, even though the capacity of motorcycle parking space was 299 motorcycles while cars were 19 cars. In addition, it can also be seen from the analysis of parking space needs (KRP) that the motorbike needs is 603 m² and the car is 275 m² while the parking area provided for motorcycles is only 448.2 m² and the car is 275 m². Thus, both in terms of parking capacity and Parking Space Needs (KRP) the parking area of Yogya Mall Brebes is unable to accommodate or insufficient. |
