The problem of delays unnoticed or has occurred for a long time in road implementation projects
in Brebes Regency, but there has been no research that shows the factors of project delays.
Therefore, this research was conducted to see the factors causing project delays. Project activity
can be defined as a temporary activity that lasts for a limited period of time, with the allocation of
certain sources of funds and is intended to carry out tasks whose targets have been clearly outlined.
There are so many activities and parties that are directly involved in carrying out project activities
that can cause various kinds of complex problems. The aims of this study are: (1) To determine the
factors that influence the delay in road construction project work on the Brebes Regency Road
Implementation, (2) to determine the most dominant factor causing the delay in Road Construction
projects in the Brebes Regency Road Implementation and ( 3) Finding a solution on how to
overcome the delay in the Road Construction project in the Brebes Regency Road Project
Implementation. The form of research used in this study includes survey research, namely research
that takes samples from a population and uses questionnaires as a data collection tool. The analysis
technique used in this research is regression test. The results show that the variables that affect
project delays include: material procurement variables, human resources, contract management,
construction equipment procurement, funding/financial, community intervention, field conditions,
politics and project owner variables. Based on the magnitude of the regression coefficient value,
the most influential variable on project delays is the political variable, which is indicated by the
regression coefficient value of 0.077. |
