Abstract:

Melon (Cucumis melo L.) is one of the plant commodities cultivated in Banjaratma Village. The purpose of this study was to analyze profits and analyze the factors that influence melon production in Banjaratma Village. The variables used in this study were land area, seeds, labor, fertilizers, and pesticides. This study uses a quantitative method with the number of respondents 10 farmers using a saturated sampling method (census), that is, all populations are sampled, data taken using primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data using the analysis of income, profit, BEP, R/C ratio, cobb-douglas production function with multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that: (1) melon farming in Banjaratma Village, Brebes Regency was profitable, with a total cost of Rp. Rp 134.592.805/1,45 ha, total revenue of Rp. Rp 253.750.000/1,45 ha, earning a profit of Rp. 119.157.195/1,45 ha, BEP unit 0.623 kg, rupiah BEP Rp 67.361.148 with an R/C ratio of 1.88. (2) factors that affect melon farming business are land area, seeds, labor, fertilizers, and pesticides, the factors that have a positive and significant effect on the 99% confidence level on melon production are land area, seeds, labor, fertilizers , and pesticides. |
