GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DESA SAWOJAJAR TENTANG PROSEDUR PEMUSNAHAN LIMBAH OBAT

Abstract

Drug waste is medicine that cannot be reused because it is expired, unused, recorted or contaminated. Drug waste is one of the sources of pollution which is quite phenomenal in Indonesia and of course it is an important thing that must be observed together, so what the process of destroying drug waste can be handled. The impact of the wrong disposal of drug waste can reduce the quality of the environment so that it has the potential to cause health problems and can also cause environmental pollution. This study aims to determine how the knowledge of the people of Sawojajar Village about the procedure for destroying drug waste. In this study using qualitative methods. The sample in this study was taken using a snowball sampling technique of 50 informants. The results of the recapitulation of informants answer show that the average result is 59%, which can be categorized based oh the score interpretation criteria is a sufficient category. The conclusion of this study was that the knowledge of the people of Sawojajar Village about the procedure for destroying medicinal waste was sufficient.
