Cream scrub is one of the cosmetic preparations used for skin care. Cream scrubs function to smooth, moisturize and brighten the body's skin. Utilization of avocado skin waste as an active substance for making cream scrubs because avocado skin contains a lot of flavonoid compounds that can be used to protect the skin against ultraviolet rays and are also able to reduce skin damage. This study uses descriptive analysis obtained from the object under study. The formulation of cream scrub preparations was made using different concentration variations, namely F1 6 grams, F2 7 grams and F3 8 grams. This research includes several tests such as organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, and dispersibility test, adhesion test, viscosity test and acceptability test. The results of the cream scrub test for formulas 1, 2 and 3 are homogeneous, have a greenish (F1), brown (F2) and dark brown (F3) color, a characteristic smell of avocado skin. The pH in formulas 1, 2, and 3 met the specified requirements, namely 6 pH. The dispersion test on F1 and F2 was 5 cm while F3 was 4 cm. The results of the adhesion test on the three formulas obtained results according to the provisions, namely 2 - 300 seconds. The results of the Viscosity Test did not meet the specified requirements and the results of the acceptance test were more preferred, namely the color and texture of the preparation, while the odor was less favorable. |
