EVALUASI PENGETAHUAN MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS MUHADI SETIABUDI TENTANG PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK

Abstract

Antibiotics are drugs used to treat or treat infections. Infectious diseases are one of the most common health problems in society. The use of antibiotics can be influenced by several factors, one of which is knowledge. Currently, the incident that is often encountered among students is about the use of antibiotics that are familiar, where students use antibiotics like using over-the-counter drugs that cause problems that will threaten health. This happens because of the lack of knowledge of students about the proper use of antibiotics. This study aims to determine how the students of Muhadi Setiabudi University describe the use of antibiotics. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with interview guide techniques. This research was conducted in May 2022 at Muhadi Setiabudi University. The population in this study were 19 students from Muhadi Setiabudi University who were taken using the Snowball Sampling Method or saturated data. The results of the study indicate that the description of the knowledge of Muhadi Setiabudi University students about the use of antibiotics is very low.
