The purpose of this study is to describe the form and function of the expressive speech acts of the characters Nur and Widya in the KKN film in the dancer village. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The source of data in this study is the speech of the characters Nur and Widya in the KKN film in the dancer village. The form of data in this study is in the form of Nur and Widya's utterances in the KKN film in the dancer village which contains the form and function of expressive speech acts in pragmatic studies. The data collection technique used is a free listening technique for engaging and observing .The data analysis technique in this study used the match method and the agih method. The results of this study on the speech acts of Nur and Widya figures found four forms of expressive speech acts, that is direct forms totaling 40 data, direct speech acts 29 data and indirect speech act forms 11 data, while the expressive speech act functions were found 7 functions, that is 1 expressive speech act function expressing gratitude, 6 expressive speech act functions expressing a sense of forgiveness, 8 functions of expressive speech acts expressive expression of sympathy, 10 functions of expressive speech acts expressiveness express anger, 2 functions of expressive speech acts of saying greetings, 6 functions of expressive speech acts of criticizing and 7 functions of illocutionary speech acts express fear. |
