This study aims to determine farmers' perceptions of the use of the active ingredient
pesticide emamectin benzoate and to compare the costs of controlling armyworms
on corn in Margasari District, Tegal Regency. The research was carried out by
asking questions directly to the farmers covering the farmers' perceptions of
knowledge. Then an analysis was carried out using a Likert scale and by making a
comparison of the total cost of controlling pests using the insecticide emamectin
benzoate and the cost of controlling pests using the insecticide chlorantraniliprole
(a commonly used pesticide). Based on calculations using a Likert scale, it was
concluded that farmers agreed to the use of the active ingredient pesticide
emamectin benzoate in controlling armyworms on corn plants. using
chlorantraniliprole (a pesticide commonly used by farmers) with a total cost of IDR
693,007 / hectare. |
