Sunscreen is a skin-protecting cosmetic that has an important role in maintaining
healthy skin, considering that most of our daily activities are done outside the home
and tend to be exposed to sunlight. Teenagers are less concerned about the health
of their skin, especially facial skin. One of the factors that influences teenagers not
to use sunscreen is knowledge. Based on initial observations by researchers in
Bulusari Village, many teenagers carry out outdoor activities without using
sunscreen. This research aims to determine knowledge about sanctions against
teenagers in Bulusari Village. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research
method with sample determination based on snowball sampling, data collection
methods through observation, interviews and documentation. This research
included teenagers in Bulusari Village who met the inclusion criteria with a total
of 20 respondents. From the research results it was found that the average was
83.3%. So it can be concluded that knowledge about sunscreen among teenagers in
Bulusari village is very good. This can be influenced by knowledge factors such as
