Abstract:

The subjects of this study were at Pabuaran 01 Public Elementary School, Salem
District, Brebes Regency, Central Java. The research was conducted in class II,
with only 8 students, among the number of students there were 4 children who had
difficulty reading, namely 2 boys and 2 girls. Data collection is done by means of
observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers go directly to the field to
obtain data and information according to the situation that occurs. This study used
descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of research conducted at SD
Negeri Pabuaran 01, it shows that there are still some students who have difficulty
reading. The forms of difficulties experienced by class II students at SD Negeri
Pabuaran 01 namely, students cannot understand sound symbols, students have
difficulty recognizing punctuation marks, have not memorized the alphabet
perfectly, students have not been able to distinguish the shapes and sounds of letters
that are almost the same, and students have difficulty spelling say. |
