PENGARUH DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN PERAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP PERILAKU BELAJAR SISWA (STUDI EMPIRIS SISWA KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI PRAPAG KIDUL 01)

Abstract

Student behavior certainly cannot be separated from the habits of learning in school, therefore a teacher and parents must care about what is experienced and the changes that occur in students or children. The purpose of the study was to find out and analyze a) the influence of social support on the learning behavior of grade VI elementary school students; b) the influence of the role of parents on the learning behavior of grade VI elementary school students; c) the influence of social support and the role of parents together on the learning behavior of grade VI elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach using this type of explanatory research through associative research, which aims to explain the relationship between two or more variables with the aim of obtaining valid data. Research data used is subject data in the form of opinions, attitudes, experiences or characteristics of a person or group of people who are the subject of research. Data obtained by using a) questionnaire in the form of a list of questions in writing which is then shared with respondents to be filled out, b) primary documents in the form of answers to questionnaire results from respondents, c) literature studies derived from several literatures and other supporting readings. Data analysis techniques are processed with the help of spss application version 25. The results of this study are known the value of the R correlation coefficient of 0.635 states the contribution of independent variables of social support (X1) and the role of parents (X2) of 63.50% in explaining the variability of variables depending on student learning behavior (Y) at Prapag Kidul State Elementary School 01, Losari, Brebes. The correlation coefficient of 0.635 states the strong simultaneous influence of independent variables of social support and the role of parents on dependent variables of student learning behavior.Based on multiple regression equations it can be interpreted that each increase of one unit of social support variable (X1) and parental role (X2) will increase the student learning behavior variable by 0.476 units of social support, plus 0.253 units of parental roles, at constant 45,833.
